Captain Jared is a civil engineer and has his own firm, JP Engineering. He loves woodworking, leading both our sons' cub scout dens, and can fix anything! While at sea, he will continue to work from the boat, just at a more limited capacity.

Stef is an author and teacher. She's a science, STEM, and technology coach, girl scout leader, and moonlights as education staff for the Monterey Bay Aquarium, mentoring teachers via MBA's teacher institutes. She is leading the Pechan Adventure Academy for our kids and providing STEM outreach at sea.

Matthew: Presently in the 7th grade. He loves all sports, scouting, and helping Dad with projects.

Zachary: Presently in the 6th grade. He is a superstar swimmer, earning Junior Olympic times! He loves art and the outdoors.

Cadence: Presently in 4th grade. She loves dancing, singing, animals, gymnastics, and building fairy houses.

Sunny is our 4 year old golden retriever and she loves nothing more than being out on the boat! Her favorite things are going for runs, playing catch, and chasing after birds in the surf.
